St Leger and Viney, major South African distributor of fabrics and wallcoverings, has been successfully running the TransLution™ Software for over 10 years

They recently decided to expand their implementation of the product to include serialised tracking of their sample books.

After successful TransLution™ implementations in Johannesburg and Namibia, Bravo Sleep has extended the use of TransLution™ to a third site in Durban.

As with the other two sites, Durban uses the same TransLution™ database as Johannesburg and communicates directly via the scanners and touchscreens to a database in Johannesburg.

BSI Steel is a major distributor of steel products across the African continent. As a large operation, BSI was faced with the challenge of getting accurate stock figures into their ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics AX). Together with Afrisoft Africa, they implemented TransLution™ Software to assist with their stock take process.

After a successful implementation of TransLution™ in their Johannesburg factory, Bravo Sleep has extended the use of TransLution™ to their Namibia plant.

Shoreline Beverages, a South African non- alcoholic beverage company, has successfully worked with Afrisoft Africa to implement TransLution™ Software on the dispatch portion of their business.

Once cases from production have been packed onto a pallet, a unique pallet label is printed. These pallets are then scanned into inspection and a SYSPRO WIP Job Receipt is posted.

Vinimark is the largest independent wine specialist company in South Africa, distributing and marketing more than 50 of the country’s best known wine brands. Vinimark chose to work with Afrisoft and RSA Enterprise Software in Cape Town, using TransLution™ to assist them in managing their inventory.

Buffalo Tapes, a leading self-adhesive tape company in Southern Africa, boasts over 3000 tape products. With such an array of products, Buffalo Tapes chose to implement TransLution™ Software to help manage their Johannesburg warehouse.

Bravo Sleep Products, a division of Bravo Group, is produces four of South Africa’s leading mattress brands.  Their factory in Johannesburg has elected to use TransLution™ Software to perform three types of functions – Production Tracking; Automating Job Issues and Receipts; and Tracking Operator Performance.

Lancashire, a South African school wear and uniform manufacturer, selected TransLution™ Software to help manage manufacturing processes in their Cape Town factory.

The TransLution™ system extends from receiving and labelling raw materials into either the factory warehouse or a bonded warehouse. The Purchase Order receipts are then posted directly to SYSPRO.

Afrisoft Africa has successfully implemented TransLution™ Software at a number of Astrapack sites. The latest of these is Marcom, a manufacturer of thin walled injection-moulded tubs, containers, lids and cups for the dairy industry.

Rosh Pinah, one of the largest and most important lead and zinc mines in Namibia, elected Afrisoft to help lay the foundation for long-term plans for managing spares and consumables in its mining operation.

Afrisoft elected to implement TransLution™ Software in phases, first creating a system that prints a range of barcode labels for Bins, Bulk Bins and products as they are received. All labels are printed as 2D barcodes, allowing significantly more information to be embedded in the label than a standard barcode.
