Angelo Kater utilizes TransLution Software to automate stock receiving

Angelo Kater, South Africa’s market leader in van conversions, has successfully implemented TransLution Software to automate their stock receiving. The company, which specializes in designing and manufacturing aftermarket van conversions, transforms vehicles for various purposes including commuter transport, custom mobile solutions, and government service vehicles such as ambulances and mobile clinics.

Angelo Kater chose TransLution to automate their stock control processes, alongside their SYSPRO ERP implementation. The first phase of implementation focused on streamlining their purchase order receiving operations, with particular attention to their incoming vehicle inspection process. TransLution now manages a comprehensive series of checks that must be performed on incoming vehicle bases. The system ensures all required inspections are completed and passed before allowing the stock to be received into inventory.

The shift from paper-based systems to TransLution has significantly accelerated Angelo Kater’s receiving process while enhancing data accuracy and accessibility. All data is now electronically captured and stored, providing easy access for reference and reporting purposes. 

Building on the success of this initial phase, Angelo Kater plans to expand TransLution’s implementation into their production operations.
