TransLution’s Product Evolution
- Android and EazyTouch can both be auto-updated when you upgrade. You will need to upgrade your devices to V71 manually but after that all updates are managed within TransLution
- Android can now show suggestion text in Bold, Italic and Underlined making it easier for operators to find key information.
- Your site administrators can now manage devices in EazySetup, making EazySetup the only application your site admins need access to to manage all your TransLution setup (e.g. users, scanners, licenses). Scanners only need to be configured once and can then be added to any company including live or test.
- You now have one licence file for live and test, making licence imports even easier.
Important to Note
- Version 7 does not support Windows scanners
- A new licence file must be requested before upgrading to V7
- You can now easily manage your own license import using EazySetup
- You can now choose whether to show the numeric keypad on EazyTouch grids, freeing up more screen space to show more data on your grids
- Scale communication is greatly improved, ensuring you can talk to scales with ease
- We now have a new step type that presents a user with two buttons. The text on the buttons is configurable and each button can be configured to move to a different step. This replaces the need to have a dropdown with just two options for example Pass/Fail or Yes/No
- We introduced a new lookup, which allows you to see multiple columns in a grid type display. This is a much cleaner interface than previous multi-data lookups that required the stringing of data together
- The Android on screen keyboard is enhanced with the option to display a numeric keypad only or no keypad at all
- You can now better manage user logons, with the option to auto logoff a user when another logon is detected or to specify that some users are allowed to log on more than once.
- You can now set up a report to print portrait or landscape in TransLution’s report setup, instead of having to fiddle with printer settings. This is useful if one printer prints both report layouts.
- TransLution EazyTouch now supports graphical data display using Charts.
- We added the ability to do offline scanning to Android meaning you can now use Android devices in places where there is no connectivity.
- You can now group functions on Android into workflows.
- You can define your own grid layouts to automatically group and sort rows, have pre-defined filters or customised line colours based on your preferences.
- We have added the ability to create EDI files to TransLution. These files can be created automatically based on data you scan.
- The Android display form has been changed from a basic grid to functions using images on buttons
- Adding and Maintaining Users has been made significantly easier.
- You can now use Quality Manager on Android
- We have made significant improvements to posting data to SYSPRO – you should see a reduction in errors and you can now post to different SYSPRO companies from the same scanner.
