Finlar Fine Foods Cape Town implements TransLution to improve pallet packing
Finlar Fine Foods supplies world standard food products to the food service and retail markets.
Finlar Fine Foods’ Cape Town operation uses Translution to print detailed stock and pallet labels, each with unique barcodes. The stock labels are applied to boxes and scanned to pack a pallet. The user has an option of packing a part or full pallet.
When packing a full pallet, Translution validates that the cumulative quantity of boxes scanned onto a pallet does not exceed the accepted full pallet quantity for the stock code scanned. The user also has the option to remove or add a box to a pallet after the initial pallet creation process, by scanning the stock and pallet label.
If required, the query tool can show users exactly which boxes have been scanned onto which pallet at any time. The user also has the option to filter the report by pallet ID, stock code and pallet creation date.
