Millennium Foods enhances warehouse operations with TransLution Software
Millennium Foods, a division of Libstar specializing in frozen ready meals, has successfully implemented TransLution Software to enhance their warehouse operations and inventory management processes. This implementation has transformed their stock control procedures from raw material receiving through to production supply.
TransLution now manages several operations throughout their facility. The system handles purchase order receiving, orchestrates picking and transfer of materials to production, and controls several warehouse management functions including transfers and bin movements. A key feature of the implementation is TransLution’s pallet management capabilities, which provide real-time visibility of stock location and movement history at the pallet level, ensuring precise tracking of inventory throughout the warehouse.
The implementation has delivered significant operational improvements. The stock take process, previously restricted to specific personnel due to its complexity, has been simplified and can now be performed by any trained staff member, dramatically reducing the time required for inventory counts. Similarly, the receiving process has been streamlined, leading to faster processing of incoming materials and improved accuracy of stock records.
