Eya Bantu takes the first step toward automation with TransLution Software

Eya Bantu, a manufacturer of switchgear and control plant panels, has successfully implemented TransLution Software at their Port Elizabeth facility. This implementation marks the first step in their journey toward company-wide process automation and standardization.

The primary objective of their partnership with TransLution is to digitize and automate their operations, moving away from paper-based systems to streamline data capture and improve accessibility. The initial phase focused on purchase order receiving, where TransLution now manages the printing of labels and the receipt of both standard and serialized stock. The system also incorporates quality control procedures, with certain incoming items requiring specific quality checks that are captured and tracked within TransLution.

Building on the success of the initial implementation in Port Elizabeth, Eya Bantu has planned a comprehensive second phase that will extend TransLution’s functionality to cover put-away processes, job picking and issues, panel inspection, and job receipts.
