Bakels Orley Goes Live with TransLution Software
Bakels Orley, a company that manufactures and distributes a wide range of ingredients and application solutions, has successfully implemented TransLution Software across their entire facility. This comprehensive implementation was part of a larger initiative to transition from their previous ERP system to SYSPRO, necessitating a facility-wide rollout rather than a phased approach.
The primary objective of this implementation was to streamline operations across all departments, from raw materials handling to production and finished goods management. The project, which included configuration, training and go-live, was completed in an impressive three-month timeframe.
TransLution Software was integrated to support several critical functions throughout the facility. In raw materials, the system manages purchase order receiving, pallet creation and management, and put-away processes. For production, TransLution handles material issuance to jobs, and receipt of pallets from jobs. In the finished goods area, the software facilitates warehouse put-aways and manages the picking, checking, and dispatching of sales orders. Additionally, TransLution oversees all general warehousing functions, including stock transfers, pallet management, stock takes, and cycle counts.
A key feature of this implementation is the integration of TransLution’s Quality Manager. This module enables Bakels Orley to set up test procedures and record quality testing results for both raw materials and finished goods, ensuring consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
