Brelko Select TransLution™ Software to Assist with Managing Warehouse Stock
Brelko, a South African designer and manufacturer of conveyor belt cleaning equipment, elected to use TransLution™ to assist with managing warehouse stock in the production process.
In order to do this, TransLution™ is being used to posting Job Issues and Receipts to SYSPRO. Raw materials are issued to the job at each job operation and Brelko is managing quantities per operation.
This means that if an operation one on a job makes only five items it is not possible to make more than five items on operation two. This level of control is not often implemented but the benefit is that there is not a problem with issued quantities at the end of the production line when the Job Receipt is to be posted. Quantities are carefully controlled at each step during the production process.
In addition to tracking and managing the job issues and receipts, TransLution™ is also used to Print Job Cards for scanning during production, and printing Finished Goods labels to be applied to items at the end of production
Users are also able to scan products, both finished goods and raw materials, and move them between different warehouses.
